9 months

Two weeks ago was Josh's 9 month check up. Everything looks great and he is growing like a weed. Our soon to be line backer is in the 95% percentile for height and 93% for weight, Eric is convinced that when he starts crawling, he will be going through walls. We are still waiting for the first real crawls and scoots, so far he can get up on his knees and rocks back and forth. Since Emma just army crawled from 10-14 months and then magically got up on her knees and started crawling one day, I don't know what the normal crawling progression is but I guess it can't be too long now before Josh gets going.

Last week Josh had surgery for an undescended testicle and he was a trooper. The poor boy had a pretty large hernia to boot and they fixed that up as well. He slept most of the day of the surgery and now a week later, he is back to his normal happy self. It's amazing to me how (mostly) happy he is. He and Emma are so different in their personalities, it's amazing that children from the same two parents, being raised the same way can be so different. Guess it just shows how amazing God is, creating these children and giving them so much uniqueness.
